I’m a Designer based in Maryland, who enjoys finding solutions to everyday problems. I’m always on a journey to find the best way to focus on what I can change and accept what I can’t. I’m starting to learn that it’s harder than it looks when your visions are not limited to a box.

From a young age, I was surrounded by different types of creatives. I grew fond of drawing and painting enough to enter youth art contests and explore all kinds of mediums. Sometimes my ideas were harder to explain than they were to envision. I became better at expressing my ideas through visual mediums. I realized that I wasn’t the only one who struggled to bring their ideas to life and communicate important visions.

For me, being a Designer meant becoming a facilitator. So when I finally realized I could take my ideas and bring them to life, digitally, a new passion formed. I was drawn to Graphic Design before I even knew it had a name.

The beginning of my self-taught chapter started and I found a passion for logo design. I never thought this passion would give me such a head start as I was designing indoor soccer team jerseys and their visual identities. It’s impossible to hide how grateful I am to get to turn my passion into a career.

Now the best part is getting to see myself expand my creative skill set. Recently it’s been expanded to the kitchen, and the beautiful thing about it is it challenges me to go beyond the visual language of the dish. What I cook needs to taste good too.
